To all U18 members,
The Swords Club U18 McEvoy Cup Competition, an annual electric foil event, will be held on Saturday 26 September 2026, at The Swords Club. This event is open to all members born 2008 or later, and all kids are encouraged to compete, regardless of experience.

Details as follows:
Date: Saturday, 26 September 2026
Time: Registration closes at 11:30am on the day; bouts start at midday. Please be dressed and ready to begin fencing promptly at midday.
Venue: The Swords Club, North Sydney Girls HS Hall
Format: This is a non-handicapped event. The competition will start with poules to 5 and continue with direct elimination (DE) bouts until completed. DEs will be up to 10 points until the round of 8, and then to 15 points.
Equipment: All fencing will be using electric equipment and there will be limited Club gear available to borrow on the day. If you have them, please wear full fencing whites, although tracksuit pants will be acceptable.
Entry Fee: $25 per fencer payable on the day or online.
